Lens purchase
After much research on the net for the best lens that I can afford (I was looking for IS and cheap lens) I ended up with a choice of 28-135 IS lens. I reviewed many sites and results of the test and realized that 28-105 3.5-4.5 lens is equivalent performer and falls short a hair thin in results and costs much less than previously mentioned lens. It's not an IS lens and yes I know getting IS lens was one of my goals but money in pocket always makes me feel warmer in cold season.
After shooting whatever came my way I have decided to concentrate on night / low light and landscape photography for which I needed an IS lens. I realized that IS may allow me to handheld shot 2 stops less but tripod allows much more than that since night photography requires higher aperture setting (f/8) and shutter of 1/20 or less which is dodgy even for IS.
So I decided to go for 28-105 3.5-4.5 lens which has excellent review from Bob Atkins and I bought it for £143 from eBay where I would have to shell out £225 atleast for 28-135 IS version.
Next two lenses I plan to buy are Tamron 90mm f/2.8 MACRO and Canon 70-300 IS version. But before that I plan to sell my kit lens, 18-55mm EF-S.
Till then bye for now

Precious water. Opposite Message!
Somehow I thought water was precious and should not be wasted. Look at the attached photo. This is CineWonder at Thane where I was sitting one day having Saturday lunch out. Suddenly this guy come up with hose and start washing entire place. My question is why should modernization cost rural areas so much?
